Electrical

Electrician

A Licensed Electrician can design, install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect and test an electrical installation where the operating voltage of such installation does not exceed 1,000 volts and the approved load of such installation does not exceed 45 kVA.

Electrical Technician

A Licensed Electrical Technician can install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect, and test an electrical installation which does not exceed 1000 volts and the approved load of installation which does not exceed 500 kVA.

Electrical Engineer

A Licensed Electrical Engineer can design, install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect, test and take full charge and responsibility for any electrical installation accordingly which is up to 1000 volts, 22000 volts, 66000 volts, 230000 volts, 400000 volts.

Electrical Technician (Restricted)

A Licensed Electrical Technician (Restricted) can install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect and test an electrical installation of a specific rail line. 

Gas Service

Gas Service Worker

A Licensed Gas Service Worker can work on fixing, altering, repairing and renewing gas pipes, removing gas meters and turning on gas supply on behalf of gas licensee which operating pressure not more than 30 mbars.

Gas Service Worker (Restricted)

A Licensed Gas Service Worker (Restricted) can install, maintain, repair and test, install or remove gas meters and turn on gas supply on behalf of a gas licensee where the operating pressure is not more than 30 mbars.

A Licensed Cable Detection Worker with a set of instrument or locator to detect the presence and approximate location of an underground cable or pipe. This serves as an indicator that the cable or pipe is located nearby on site, and to proceed with care and caution.
